Pengaruh Lingkunngan Kerja dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Petugas Penyapu Jalanan Kota Singaraja

Abstract

This research started from an observation aimed at the Singaraja City street sweeper which at the time of observation it was found that the Singaraja City street sweeper carried out three tasks according to the schedule determined by the Buleleng Regency Environmental Service. Street sweepers are not alert in dealing with sudden piles of garbage, for example during the rainy season. Officers feel uncomfortable carrying out their duties on a predetermined schedule both from the environmental conditions and from the community. Street sweepers rarely get attention from the leadership, especially from the closest foreman. The population of this study was directed directly to the street sweepers in Singaraja City with a total of 188 people, then the minimum sample was determined using the Slovin formula so that a minimum sample of 129 people was obtained. After the data is collected, it is analyzed using path analysis with p-value < = 0.05. Based on the results of the research analysis, the coefficient of R2yx1x2 is 0.124 with a p-value of R2yx1x2 = 0.000 < alpha (α) = 0.05. These results indicate that the work environment and work motivation have a significant effect on the performance of street sweepers in Singaraja.
