Penggunaan Media Audio Visual Dalam Pembelajaran Menulis Teks Pidato di Kelas X IPA 8 SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Utara

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan penggunaan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran menulis pidato di kelas X IPA 8 SMA Negari 1 Kuta Utara, (2) mendeskripsikan hasil penggunaan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran menulis pidato di kelas X IPA 8 SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif-kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Indonesia yang mengajar di kelas X IPA 8 SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Utara dan siswa kelas X IPA 8 SMA Negeri 1 Kuta. Objek penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran menulis pidato. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Penggunaan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran menulis pidato di kelas X IPA 8 SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Utara dilakukan dengan tiga tahap kegiatan pembelajaran, yaitu kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup. Kegiatan pendahuluan dibagi menjadi lima tahapan, yaitu guru membuka pelajaran dengan mengucapkan salam, menyanyikan lagu Indonesia Raya, guru mengecek kehadiran siswa, guru melakukan apersepsi, dan menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran. Pada kegiatan inti ini, guru menerapkan 5M (mengamati, menanya, mengekslorasi, mengasosiasi, dan mengomunikasikan). Pada kegiatan penutup guru menanyakan kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa dalam memahami materi yang telah dipelajari, guru dan siswa menyimpulkan materi pelajaran. (2) Kemampuan siswa dalam mengikuti pelajaran menulis pidato yang dibantu dengan menggunaan media audio visual sangat tinggi. siswa mampu memenuhi KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum) yang telah ditentukan pihak sekolah, yaitu 85.Kata Kunci : penggunaan media audio visual, menulis pidato
This research aimed at (1) describing the use of audio visual media in speech writing learning in class X IPA 8 SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Utara, (2) describing the result of the use of audio visual media in speech writing learning in class X IPA 8 SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Utara. This research used the descriptive qualitative-quantitative research design. The subject of this study were Indonesian language teacher who taught in class X IPA 8 SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Utara and the students in class X IPA 8 SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Utara. The object of this study was the use of audio visual media in speech writing learning. The data in this research was gathered by using observation and documentation method. The result of this study showed that (1) the use of audio visual media in speech writing learning in class X IPA 8 SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Utara done within three steps of learning process which were introduction, core activity, and closing activity. The introduction activity was divided into five steps, they were teacher began the learning by greeting the students, sang the Indonesia Raya song, teacher checked the students’ attendance, teacher did the apperception, and told students the purpose of the learning. In this core activity, the teacher applied 5M (mengamati – observing, menanya – questioning, mengeksplorasi – exploring, mengasosiasi – associating, and mengkomunikasikan – communicating). The closing activity, teacher asked the difficulty that faced by students in understanding the material that had learnt, teacher and students concluded the material of learning. (2) Students ability to attend speech-assisted lessons by using audio-visual media is very high. Students could reach the KKM (KriteriaKetuntasan Minimum – The Criteria of Minimum Completeness) that has been determined by the school parties, that was 85.
