Teknik Penilaian Keterampilan Berbicara dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) bentuk-bentuk penilaian keterampilan berbicara dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar (2) aspek- aspek penilaian keterampilan berbicara dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar (3) kendala penilaian keterampilan berbicara dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar, dan (4) solusi guru dalam mengatasi kendala penilaian keterampilan berbicara dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu guru bahasa Indonesia kelas X dan XI di SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar. Objek penelitian ini adalah penilaian keterampilan berbicara dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa teknik penilaian keterampilan berbicara dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar menggunakan bentuk tes dan nontes.Tes diskusi dalam pembelajaran debat dan tes menceritakan kembali dalam pembelajaran cerpen. Nontes menggunakan bentuk observasi dan portofolio. Aspek-aspek yang dinilai yaitu aspek kebahasaan dan nonkebahasaan. Ada tiga kendala yang dialami guru dalam penilaian keterampilan berbicara, yaitu (1) kesulitan mempersiapkan siswa dalam menghadapi pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara, (2) kesulitan menilai siswa yang jumlahnya terlalu banyak dalam 1 satu kelas, (3) kesulitan dalam mengelola waktu. Ada tiga solusi yang ditawarkan oleh guru dalam mengatasi kendala penilaian keterampilan berbicara, yaitu (1) memberikan kesempatan siswa untuk menyiapkan diri dari jauh hari agar penampilan memuaskan, (2) membuat perencanaan penilaian yang sistematis agar seluruh siswa mendapatkan kesempatan merata. (3) menyampaikan sistem atau prosedur tes berbicara agar seluruh siswa mendapatkan waktu yang sama.Kata Kunci : Keterampilan berbicara, penilaian
This study aimed at describing (1) the assessment forms of speaking skill in learning Indonesian Language in SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar, (2) the assessment aspects of speaking skill in learning Indonesian Language in SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar, (3) the assessment obstacles of speaking skill in learning Indonesian Language in SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar, and (4) the teacher’s solution in solving assessment obstacles of speaking skill in learning Indonesian Language in SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar. The design of study was descriptive qualitative. The subjects of study were Indonesian Language Teachers teaching students at grade X and XI in SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar. Moreover, the object of this study was speaking skill assessment in learning Indonesian Language. The methods of data collection were observation, interview, and documentation. The result of study denotes that the assessment techniques to assess speaking skill in learning Indonesian Language in SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar are test and non-test. The discussion test is in debate and story telling test is in learning short story. Non-test uses observation and portfolio. Aspects assessed are linguistic aspect and non linguistic aspect. There are three obstacles found by teachers in assessing students’ speaking skill which are (1) the difficulty to prepare students in learning speaking, (2) the difficulty to assess a huge number of students in one class, and (3) the difficulty to manage time. There are three solutions offered by teachers to solve obstacles of speaking skill assessment, namely (1) giving time to students to prepare themselves in order to show satisfactory performance, (2) creating systematic assessment planning in order to give same opportunity for the whole students, (3) conveying systems or procedures of speaking test in order to give the same opportunity for all students.
