ANALISIS ABREVIASI DALAM IKLAN BARIS SISWA KELAS IX SMP NEGERI 7 SINGARAJA

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 7 Singaraja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan jenis abreviasi yang terdapat dalam iklan baris siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 7 Singaraja, (2) mendeskripsikan bentuk asal abreviasi yang terdapat dalam iklan baris siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 7 Singaraja, dan (3) mendeskripsikan kesalahan abreviasi yang terdapat dalam iklan baris siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 7 Singaraja Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu iklan baris siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 7 Singaraja, sedangkan objek yang digunakan yakni abreviasai yang digunakan oleh siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 7 Singaraja dalam membuat iklan baris. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi dan instrumen penelitian menggunakan kartu data. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan tentik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif. Data diolah melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu koleksi data, reduksi data, analisis data, penyimpulan data dan penyajian data. Dari analisis data di atas, adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) ada empat jenis abreviasi yang digunakan oleh siswa, yaitu singkatan, penggalan, akronim, dan ambang huruf. (2) Bentuk asal abreviasi yang digunakan oleh siswa yaitu, bentuk asal abreviasi berupa nama diri, frasa, dan kata. Sementara itu, (3) ada beberapa kesalahan abreviasi yang dibuat oleh siswa. Jenis abreviasi yang salah yaitu kebanyakan pada penggunaan singkatan. Adapun saran terkait penelitian ini, siswa diharapkan lebih mencermati hal-hal terkait aturan penggunaan abreviasi dalam iklan baris.Kata Kunci : abreviasi, iklan baris, siswa SMP
Abstract This study took place in SMP N 7 Singaraja. This study aimed 1) to describe kinds of abbreviation in advertisement of 9th grade students of SMP N 7 Singaraja, 2) to describe the first form of abbreviation in advertisement of 9th grade students of SMP N 7 Singaraja, 3) to describe the error of abbreviation in advertisement of 9th grade students of SMP N 7 Singaraja. This study was descriptive qualitative study. The subject of this study was the advertisement of 9th grade students of SMP N 7 Singaraja and the object of this study was the abbreviation used by the 9th grade students of SMP N 7 Singaraja in the advertisement. This study used documentation method and data card as the research instrument. In this study, researchers used descriptive qualitative data analiysis technique.The data analyzed by using data analysis such as data collection, data reduction, conclusion drawing, and data display. From data analysis result above(1) that 4 abbreviations were used by the students such as singkatan, penggalan, akronim and ambang huruf. (3)The first form of abbreviation which used by the students were name, phrase and word. Beside that, (3) the error was occurred in abbreviation and the error’s dominance was on singkatan. There is a suggestion related to this study in which students are expected to look carefully toward the rules of abbreviation usage in advertisement.
