PENERAPAN TEKNIK PQ4R BERBANTUAN MEDIA CERPEN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS NASKAH DRAMA SISWA KELAS XI IPB2 SMA NEGERI 2 GEROKGAK

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah, hasil, dan respons siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis naskah drama dengan penerapan teknik PQ4R berbantuan media cerpen. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas XI IPB2 SMA Negeri 2 Gerokgak yang berjumlah 39 orang. Data dalam penelitian dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi, tes, dan kuesioner kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan langkah-langkah pembelajaran menulis naskah drama secara garis besar yang tepat yakni, (1) membaca dan menganalisis isi cerpen dengan teknik PQ4R, (2) menyusun kerangka naskah drama, dan (3) mengembangkan kerangka naskah drama menjadi naskah drama yang utuh. Hasil tes menulis naskah drama siswa XI IPB2 SMA Negeri 2 Gerokgak telah meningkat dengan perolehan rata-rata skor siswa pada prasiklus 71,49, pada siklus I sebesar 81,08, dan siklus II sebesar 86,33, selanjutnya hasil respons siswa tergolong positif pada siklus I sebesar 54,05 dan meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 57,08.Kata Kunci : PQ4R, cerpen, menulis naskah drama
This classrom action research aims to describe the steps, the results and the responses of students in learning to write drama script by the implementation of PQ4R technique using short stories as the media. The subjects of the research are the teacher and the students of XI IPB2 class at SMA Negeri 2 Gerokgak with the amount of 39 students. The data colleted by using observation method, test and questionnaire and they are analyzed by using descriptive qualitative and quantitative technique. The results show the learning steps of writing drama script generally are (1) reading and analyzing the content of the short stories by using PQ4R technique, (2) arranging the draft of drama script, and (3) developing the draft into a good drama script. The results of writing test have improved in which the mean score got in pre-cycle is 71,49, improves in cycle I to 81,08, and it gets more improvement in cycle II for the amount of 86,33. The results of the students responses belong to positive reponses in cycle I that is 54,05 and it increases for 57,08 in cycle II.
