PENGEMBANGAN BUKU PEDOMAN PRAKTIKUM KIMIA RAMAH LINGKUNGAN UNTUK PEMBELAJARAN KIMIA SMA

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan karakteristik buku pedoman praktikum kimia ramah lingkungan dan tanggapan ahli terhadap buku pedoman praktikum kimia ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) menggunakan model Gall dan Borg. Tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan adalah: (1) analisis kebutuhan, (2) perencanaan, (3) pengembangan produk awal, (4) validasi ahli dan praktisi, (5) uji keterbacaan, dan (6) uji coba terbatas buku pedoman terhadap 12 orang siswa kelas XI IPA. Tahapan pengembangan produk awal meliputi tahap perancangan dan pengujian. Tahap perancangan produk merupakan tahap penentuan tampilan isi buku secara visual yang meliputi rancangan sampul dan rancangan isi buku. Pada tahap pengujian, buku diujicobakan terhadap 12 orang siswa. Buku pedoman ini terdiri atas 16 topik praktikum kimia yang menggunakan bahan-bahan ramah lingkungan. Instrumen penilaian buku terdiri atas face validity, content validity, dan pengembangan diri siswa berdasarkan penilaian ahli dan praktisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa buku pedoman kimia ramah lingkungan dikategorikan sangat baik berdasarkan penilaian ahli, praktisi, dan siswa.Kata Kunci : Praktikum Kimia, Kimia Ramah Lingkungan
This study was aimed to describe characteristics of guidance book of green chemistry practicum and experts’ judgment toward the guidance book of green chemistry practicum. The study was Research and Development using Gall and Borg model. The steps that should be done in the study, namely (1) need analysis, (2) planning, (3) preliminary product development, (4) experts’ validation, (5) readability test, and (6) testing of guidance book to the twelve of the eleventh grade students of natural science. The preliminary product development involved two steps, namely designing and testing. The designing step of product was the determination step of content of the book visually including of cover design and content design. In the testing step, the book was tested to the twelve students. The book contained 16 topics of chemistry practicum using friendly environment chemicals. The instrument assessment of the product was reviewed from the face validity, content validity, and students’ self development based on the experts’ judgment and practitioners’ judgment. The result of the study showed that the guidance book of green chemistry practicum is categorized very good according to the judgment of experts, practitioners, and students.
