ETNIK BUGIS MANDAR DI DUSUN MANDAR SARI, DESA SUMBERKIMA, GEROKGAK, BULELENG, BALI (SEJARAH, PEMERTAHANAN IDENTITAS ETNIK DAN KONTRIBUSINYA BAGI PEMBELAJARAN SEJARAH)

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Mendeskripsikan latar belakang Sejarah Suku Bugis Mandar di Desa Sumberkima, (2) Mendeskripsikan Strategi dan Alasan Masyarakat Bugis Mandar di Desa Sumberkima dalam mempertahankan identitas kesukuannya hingga saat ini, (3) Medeskripsikan Kontribusi Sejarah kedatangan Suku Bugis Mandar ke Desa Sumberkima dan strategi pemertahanan identitas kesukuannya bagi Pembelajaran Sejarah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan tahap-tahap; (1) Tehnik penentuan lokasi penelitian, penelitian ini berlokasi di Desa Sumberkima, Kecamatan Gerokgak, Kabupaten Buleleng, (2) Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, (3) Tehnik penentuan informan, penentuan informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu purposive sampling, (4) Tehnik pengumpulan data, melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kajian dokumen, (5) Tehnik validasi keabsahan data, dan triangulasi data, (6) Teknik analis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sejarah Suku Bugis Mandar di Desa Sumberkima dilatar belakangi oleh dua faktor, yaitu faktor pendorong dan faktor penarik. Faktor pendorong disebabkan karena adanya Hegemoni VOC di Sulawesi abad XVI dan adanya pemberontakan komunis tahun 1926-1927. Dan faktor penarik disebabkan karena letak desa Sumberkima yang sangat strategis terletak di pesisir pantai dan memilliki tanah yang subur untuk dijadikan lahan pemukiman dan perkebunan. Strategi pemertahanan identitas etnik Bugis mandar yaitu menggunakan sistem sosialisasi dalam keluarga, masyarakat dan sekolah. Strategi yang digunakan untuk mempertahankan identitas etnik yaitu dengan sosialisasi melalui agen keluarga, sosialisasi melalui agen masyarakat dan sosialisasi melalui agen keluarga, serta alasan pemertahanan identitas etnik yaitu karena warisan leluhur dan takut untuk kehilangan identitas sebagai suku pendatang. Adapun kontribusi dari sejarah Suku Bugis Mandar di desa Sumberkima serta strategi dan alasan pemertahanan identitas kesukuannya bagi pembelajaran sejarah yaitu dapat dijadikan sumber belajar sejarah dan juga dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran sejarah pada kurikulum 2013.

ABSTRACT This study aims to (1) describe the background history of the Bugis Mandar village Sumberkima, (2) Describe the strategy and reasons Society Bugis Mandar village Sumberkima in maintaining the identity of the tribal till today, (3) Medeskripsikan Contributions history of the arrival of the Bugis Mandar to village Sumberkima and tribal identity preservation strategies for Teaching History. This study uses a qualitative method by stages; (1) Technical determining the location of research, this study is located in the village of Sumberkima, Gerokgak, Buleleng, (2) research approach uses a qualitative approach, (3) Technical determination of the informant, the determination of the informants in this research is purposive sampling, (4) Technical data collection, through observation, interviews, and a review of documents, (5) Technical validation of the validity of the data, and triangulation of data, (6) Technical data analyst. The results showed that the history of the Bugis Mandar village Sumberkima motivated by two factors, namely push and pull factors. The driving factor due to the hegemony of the VOC in Sulawesi sixteenth century and the communist insurgency in 1926-1927. And a pull factor due Sumberkima village is very strategically located on the coast and memilliki arable land to be used as residential land and plantations. Bugis ethnic identity preservation strategy mandated that use the system of socialization in the family, community and school. The strategy used to maintain ethnic identity is by socialization through the agency of family, community and socialization through agents of socialization through the agency of the family, as well as ethnic identity preservation reasons, namely because of the heritage and afraid to lose their identity as ethnic migrants. The contribution of the history of the Bugis Mandar village Sumberkima strategy and tribal identity preservation reasons for teaching history which can be used as a source of learning the history and also serve as a medium of teaching history in the curriculum of 2013.
