Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses kreatif (creative process) peserta didik dengan menggunakan pendekatan Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics (STEAM). Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 16 Surakarta dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 32 orang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap, yaitu 1) perencanaan (planning), 2) pelaksanaan (act), 3) pengamatan (observing), dan 4) refleksi (reflection). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi pembelajaran IPA pada materi Zat dan Perubahannya. Terdapat peningkatan persentase rata-rata kreativitas dari pra-siklus sebesar 44,7% (kategori: kurang kreatif), menjadi 56,9% (kategori: cukup kreatif) pada siklus 1, dan meningkat lagi pada siklus 2 menjadi 87,4% (kategori: kreatif). Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan STEAM dalam pembelajaran IPA mampu meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik.
