MOTIF KAIN TENUN ENDEK BERBASIS BUDAYA BALI PADA PERTENUNAN IKAT WISNU MURTI DI DESA KERAMAS, BLAHBATUH GIANYAR

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perkembangan motif kain tenun endek berbasis budaya Bali pada Pertenunan Ikat Wisnu Murti. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian deskriptif, tempat penelitian berlokasi di Jalan Selukat, Desa Keramas, Kecamatan Blahbatuh, Kabupaten Gianyar. Sumber informasi terdiri dari informan kunci, informan pendukung, dan informan ahli. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara, dengan memakai alat berupa pedoman observasi dan pedoman wawancara, serta dianalisis dengan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan motif kain tenun endek berbasis budaya Bali pada Pertenunan Ikat Wisnu Murti awalnya memproduksi motif tradisional seperti motif bun-bunan, motif patra samblung, motif wajik ukir, dan motif encak saji. Kemudian motif tradisional tersebut berkembang ke motif bedeg, motif cendrawasih, motif anggur, motif ceplok, motif ceplok geometris, motif pucuk, motif cemplong, motif Barong Rangda, motif jepun, motif celepuk, motif celepuk kebat, motif cakra, motif riris, dan motif kidang. Perkembangan motif tersebut diambil dari unsur seni rupa, seni pertunjukan, tradisi adat istiadat, dan unsur tata cara upacara keagamaan.
