Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui dan menganalisa faktor-faktor penyebab tindak pidana penganiayaan di Kota Singaraja (2) mengetahui dan menganalisa upaya penanggulangan tindak pidana penganiayaan yang dilakukan oleh Kepolisian Resor Buleleng. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian hukum empiris, dengan sifat penelitian deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di Kepolisian Resor Buleleng. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan studi dokumen, observasi, dan wawancara. Teknik penentuan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik Non Probability Sampling dan penentuan subjeknya menggunakan subjek Purposive Sampling. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) faktor-faktor penyebab tindak pidana penganiayaan dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal, meliputi : faktor lemahnya kontrol diri dan krisis identitas diri dan faktor eksternal meliputi

: faktor lingkungan (2) upaya penanggulangan yang dilakukan oleh Kepolisian Resor Buleleng dalam menanggulangi tindak pidana penganiayaan di Kota Singaraja melalui sarana penal melalui upaya represif dan sarana non penal meliputi : upaya pre-emtif dan preventif.
