PEMBINAAN NARAPIDANA DI LEMBAGA PEMASYARAKATAN KELAS IIB SINGARAJA BAGI NARAPIDANA YANG DIJATUHI HUKUMAN PIDANA RINGAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui implementasi pembinaan di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIB Singaraja bagi narapidana yang dijatuhi hukuman pidana ringan, serta untuk (2) mengetahui efektivitas pembinaan narapidana di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIB Singaraja. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah yuridis empiris dengan sifat penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIB Singaraja. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik Non Probability Sampling dan diolah secara kualitatif. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terkait implementasi pembinaan narapidana yang dijatuhi hukuman pidana ringan di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIB Singaraja belum sepenuhnya terimplementasi dengan baik, terbukti dari belum sepenuhnya hak-hak narapidana terpenuhi dan beberapa kegiatan yang berjalan kurang maksimal dikarenakan lembaga pemasyarakatan yang overcapasitas, tidak sebandingnya jumlah petugas pembinaan dan narapidana, serta kurangnya sarana dan prasarana penunjang pembinaan. (2) Terkait efektivitas pembinaan yang diberikan kepada narapidana yang dijatuhi hukuman pidana ringan juga belum sepenuhnya efektif karena pada kenyataannya masih ada narapidana yang melakukan pengulangan tindak pidana.
