IMPLEMENTASI KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SERVICE BULUTANGKIS

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik dasar service bulutangkis pada siswa kelas VIII F SMP Negeri 1 Manggis tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari rencana tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa siswi kelas VIII F SMP Negeri 1 Manggis yang berjumlah 30 orang yaitu 13 orang siswa putra dan 17 orang siswa putri. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis data pada siklus I aktivitas belajar service bulutangkis secara klasikal sebesar 6,85 (cukup aktif) dan pada siklus II sebesar 8,61 (aktif). Dari siklus I ke siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 1,75. Sedangkan pada hasil belajar service pada siklus I adalah 70% (cukup baik) dan hasil belajar pada siklus II sebesar 83,33% (baik). Dari siklus I ke siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 13,33%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar service bulutangkis meningkat melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada siswa kelas VIII F SMP Negeri 1 Manggis tahun pelajaran 2012/2013.
Abstract: The research purpose is to improve the activity and the result of basic study service technique of badminton to the students of VIII F of SMP Negeri 1 Manggis in academic year 2012/2013. This research is categorized into classroom action research which is conducted on two cycles. Each cycle consist of action plan, executive action, observation and reflection. The subject of the research is 30 students of VIII F of SMP Negeri 1 Manggis which is consist of 13 boy students and 17 girl students. The data analyzed by descriptive statistic. The result of data analysis on cycle I on service study technique in classical about 6.85 (active enough) and on cycle II about 8.61 (active). From cycle I to cycle II, the raising achieve 1.75 while the result of service study technique on cycle I is 70% (good enough) and the study result on cycle II is 83.33% (good). From cycle I to cycle II the raising achieve 13.33%. Based on the data result and the discussion can be concluded that the activity and the result of service study can be improve by the implementation of study model of cooperative type STAD to the student VIII F SMP Negeri 1 Manggis in academic year 2012/2013.
