IMPLEMENTASI KOOPERATIF GI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR PUKULAN PENCAK SILAT

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik pukulan (pukulan depan dan pukulan sangkol) pencak silat melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, yaitu guru sebagai peneliti yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, terdiri dari rencana tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan evaluasi serta refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X.5 SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja, sejumlah 32 orang, yaitu 22 orang perempuan dan 10 orang laki-laki. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis data aktivitas belajar secara klasikal teknik pukulan pencak silat pada siklus I adalah 7,66 (aktif), dan pada siklus II adalah 8,42. Peningkatan data aktivitas belajar dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu 0,76. Sedangkan persentase hasil belajar secara klasikal pada siklus I adalah 71,87% (cukup baik), dan pada siklus II yaitu 93,75% (sangat baik). Peningkatan persentase hasil belajar dari silus I ke Siklus II yaitu sebesar 21,88 %. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan, disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik pukulan (pukulan depan dan pukulan sangkol) pencak silat meningkat melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI pada siswa kelas X.5 SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Disarankan kepada guru Penjasorkes dapat menggunakan model pembelajaran ini karena terbukti dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik pukulan pencak silat.
Abstract: This study is aimed at improving the activity and results of learning Pencak Silat punch through the application of GI cooperative learning model. This study was designed in the form of classroom action research with the teacher stood as the researcher. It was conducted in two cycles, for each involved four steps, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were the students of class X.5 of SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja with 32 students, 22 female and 10 male. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. Through the classical learning activity, it was found that in cycles I 7,66 actively engaged students became into 8,42 in the cycles II. In another word, it was 0.76 increased. Meanwhile, studying percentage in cycles I improved from 71,87% (good) to 93,75% (very good) in cycles II. It was 21,88% increased. It could be concluded that the activity and the result of Pencak Silat punch improved through the implementation of GI cooperative learning model to students at class X.5 of SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja academic year 2012/2013. Based on the improvement of students’ ability, it is highly recommended to every Physical Education teacher to implement the learning model as it was proven within this study.
