IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TAI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR PASSING BOLA BASKET

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik dasar passing bola basket melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yaitu guru sebagai peneliti yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, yang terdiri dari rencana tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi atau evaluasi/refleksi. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII F SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja, berjumlah 26 orang dengan rincian 12 orang putra dan 14 orang putri. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis data observasi awal aktivitas belajar passing (chest pass dan overhead pass) secara klasikal sebesar 6,4 (cukup aktif), setelah diberi tindakan pada siklus I aktivitas belajar meningkat menjadi 7,5 (aktif) dan meningkat menjadi 9,66 (sangat aktif) pada siklus II. Analisis data hasil belajar teknik dasar passing bola basket pada observasi awal secara klasikal sebesar 66%, setelah diberi tindakan pada siklus I hasil belajar meningkat menjadi 77,31% dan meningkat menjadi 90,3% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik dasar passing bola basket meningkat melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI pada siswa kelas VIII F SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Disarankan kepada guru penjasorkes dapat mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI karena terbukti dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar passing bola basket.

This study aims to improve the activity and the study result of the basic technique of basketball passing through the implementation of cooperative learning model TAI. This research is a classroom action research where the teacher as the researcher and conducted in two cycles consists of stages of planning, action, observation/evaluation and reflection. The subjects were 26 students of VIII F grade of SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja; which consists of 14 male and 12 female students. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics. The results of data analysis for learning activities on the basis of passing (chest pass and overhead pass) in the beginning of observations is 6.4 (moderately active), and in the first cycle increased to 7.5 (active) and 9.66 (over active) in the second cycle.While the analysis of study result of the basic technique of passing basket ball in the beginning of observations is 66% (very less), 77.31% in the first cycle (pretty good) and 90.3 (excellent) in the second cycle. Based on the analysis results and the discussion, it can be concluded that the activity and the study result of the basic technique of basketball passing increased through the implementation of cooperative learning model TAI to the students of VIII F grade of SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja school year 2013/2014. It is recommended to the Penjasorkes teacher to implement this teaching model since it proven can improve the activity and the learning result of basketball passing.
