PEMBINAAN DAN PENGGUNAAN BAHASA DALAM MENULIS KARYA ILMIAH PADA EKSTRAKURIKULER KARYA ILMIAH REMAJA (KIR) DI SMA LABORATORIUM UNDIKSHA

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji (1) proses pembinaan menulis karya ilmiah dalam ekstrakurikuler karya ilmiah remaja (KIR) di SMA Laboratorium Undiksha, (2) penggunaan bahasa dalam karya ilmiah siswa pada ekstrakurikuler karya ilmiah remaja (KIR) di SMA Laboratorium Undiksha, dan (3) keterkaitan pembinaan menulis karya ilmiah dengan penggunaan bahasa dalam karya ilmiah siswa pada ekstrakurikuler karya ilmiah remaja (KIR) di SMA Laboratorium Undiksha. Penelitian ini menggunakan ancangan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi, kartu data, serta alat perekam suara, dan kamera. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan (1) proses pembinaan menulis karya ilmiah pada ekstrakurikuler karya ilmiah remaja (KIR) di SMA Laboratorium Undiksha, yang meliputi (a) pemberian materi dasar karya ilmiah, (b) berlatih menulis karya ilmah, dan (c) berlatih presentasi. (2) Ditemukan kesalahan penggunaan bahasa dalam karya ilmiah siswa, yakni kesalahan (a) ejaan dan (b) tata kalimat. (3) Penggunaan bahasa karya ilmiah siswa berkaitan dengan pembinaan yang diberikan oleh pembina. Hal tersebut dikarenakan oleh pengetahuan siswa terhadap penggunaan bahasa yang telah diberikan dalam pembinaan diterapkan ketika menulis karya ilmiah. Simpulan penelitian ini (1) dalam proses pembinaan ekstrakurikuler KIR pembina juga memberikan pembinaan penggunaan bahasa, (2) masih ditemukannya kesalahan penggunaan bahasa walaupun telah diberikan pembinaan, (3) keterkaitan pembinaan dan penggunaan bahasa dapat dilihat dari lebih sedikitnya ditemukan kesalahan penggunaan bahasa. Adapun saran dalam penelitian ini, yaitu kegiatan pembinaan harus dilakukan lebih intensif dengan mengikuti forum-forum ilmiah.Kata Kunci : pembinaan, penggunaan bahasa, ekstrakulikuler, karya ilmiah remaja (KIR)
This study aims to review (1) the process of writing scientific in extracurricular KIR at Undiksha Laboratory High School, (2) the use of language in students scientific work on extracurricular KIR at Undiksha Laboratory High School, and (3) the correlation of scientific writing with the use of language in students scientific work on extracurricular KIR at Undiksha Laboratory High School. This research was descriptive qualitative approach. The data were collected by observation, interview, and documentation.The instruments were used, namely interview guides, observation guides, data cards, as well as voice recorders, and cameras. The results of this study show (1) the process of writing scientific papers on extracurricular KIR at Undiksha High School Laboratory, which includes (a) giving KIR basic material, (b) practicing writing scientific papers, and (c) presentation exercise. (2) The use of language in students scientific works were found language errors include (a) spelling and (b) sentences. 3) The correlation of coaching relationship with the use of language in writing scientific papers. It because students knowledge of the use of language that has been given in coaching is applied when writing scientific papers. It can be concluded that (1) in the process of coaching extracurricular KIR the coach also provide guidance of the use of language, (2) it still found discovery errors in the use of language even though it has been given coaching, (3) the linkage of coaching and language usage can be seen from the fewer errors of language use. As for suggestion in this research, that the coaching should be done more intensively by following scientific forums.
