PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SANDIWARA BONEKA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENYIMAK SISWA KELAS VII A SMP NEGERI 5 SINGARAJA

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 5 Singaraja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan menyimak siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 5 Singaraja dengan menggunakan media sandiwara boneka. (2) mendeskripsikan respons siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 5 Singaraja terhadap penggunaan media sandiwara boneka untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dengan dua siklus dan menggunakan lima tahap dari penelitian tindakan kelas, ,yakni (1) refleksi awal, (2) perencanaan, (3) pelaksanaan, (4) observasi, dan (5) refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas VII A. Yang bernama Dra. Ni Wayan Suastika dan siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 5 Singaraja. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media sandiwara boneka untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak siswa kelas VII A dan respons siswa terhadapnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa tes, observasi, kuisioner dan wawancara. Berdasarkan kedua jenis data yang diperoleh, maka teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata siklus I adalah 71,1 atau mengalami peningkatan 3,9 dari nilai sebelumnya (Prasiklus) 67,2. Nilai rata-rata siklus II 79,46 atau meningkat 8,36 dari siklus I dan meningkat 12,26 dari nilai rata-rata prasiklus. Perolehan rata-rata respons siswa pada siklus I sebesar 39,23 dalam kategori setuju dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 48,6 dalam kategori sangat setuju. Dalam pembelajaran menyimak guru kreatif dalam memilih media pembelajaran, agar siswa tidak jenuh dalam belajar.Kata Kunci : keterampilan menyimak, sandiwara boneka.
This classroom action research was conducted at SMP Negeri 5 Singaraja. This study aims to (1) describe the improvement of listening skills of students of class VII A SMP Negeri 5 Singaraja using the puppet theater media. (2) to describe the response of grade VII A students of SMP Negeri 5 Singaraja to the use of puppet plays to improve listening skills. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) conducted with two cycles and uses five stages of classroom action research, ie (1) initial reflection, (2) planning, (3) implementation, (4) observation, and (5) reflection . Subjects in this study are Indonesian language teachers in class VII A. Which named Dra. Ni Wayan Suastika and grade 5 students of SMP Negeri 5 Singaraja. The object of this research is the use of puppet theater media to improve listening skill of class VII A student and student's response to it. This study uses collection data methods in the form of tests, observations, questionnaires and interviews. Based on the two types obtained of data, the data analysis techniques used in this study is a quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques and qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The results showed the average value of cycle I was 71.1 or an increase of 3.9 from the previous value (Prasiklus) 67.2. The average value of cycle II 79.46 or increased 8.36 from cycle I and increased 12.26 from the average value of prasiklus. The average acquisition of student responses in cycle I was 39.23 in the agreed category and in cycle II increased by 48.6 in the category strongly agreed. In learning listening to creative teachers in choosing learning media, so students are not saturated in learning.
