PERANAN KEGIATAN PRAMUKA DALAM PENGEMBANGAN SIKAP DISIPLIN DAN SIKAP SOSIAL PESERTA DIDIK DI SMP NEGERI 3 SINGARAJA

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Memahami peranan pendidikan pramuka dalam pengembangan sikap disiplin peserta didik di SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja, (2) Memahami peranan pendidikan dalam pengembangan sikap sosial peserta didik di SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja, (3) Mengenai kendala-kendala yang dihadapi dalam peranan pendidikan Pramuka dalam pengembangan sikap disiplin dan sikap sosial peserta didik di SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja, serta alternatif penyelesaian masalahnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah di SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja Kecamatan Buleleng, Kabupaten Buleleng. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja kelas VII, VIII dan IX. Pengambilan sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan Data menggunakan beberapa metode Observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang telah terkumpul tersebut selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Di SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja terdapat kegiatan pramuka yang memiliki peranan untuk pengembangan sikap disiplin peserta didik. (2) Di SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja terdapat kegiatan pramuka yang memiliki peranan untuk pengembangan sikap sosial peserta didik. (3) Kendala – kendala dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pramuka di SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja anatara lain : kurangnya pembina pramuka yang profesional, siswa masih merasa acuh terhadap kegiatan pramuka dan kegiatan pramuka yang dilakukan setiap hari sabtu sore dan minggu pagi. Alternatif pemecahan kendala tersebut pihak sekolah mencari tenanga pembina sukarela dan memberikan pembinaan akan pentingnya pramuka pagi peserta didik.Kata Kunci : Sikap Disiplin, Sikap Sosial, Praja Muda Karana (PRAMUKA)
This research aimed to (1) comprehend the role of scout education in discipline development of student in SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja, (2) comprehend the role of education in social attitude development of student in SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja, (3) some obstacles which involved in the role of education in discipline development and social attitude of student in SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja, and the problem solving. This research was a qualitative research which used descriptive strategy. The location of this research was in SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja, Buleleng Subdistrict, Buleleng Regency. The research subject was all of the students in SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja grade VII, VIII, and IX. The sampling study was conducted by Random Sampling technique. The data collected technique used some methods; observation, interview, and documentation. The data which already collected then it analyzed used descriptive qualitative analysis. The result of research indicated that (1) SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja are the scouts who have a role to the development of the discipline of learners. (2) In the SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja are the scouts who have a role to the development of social attitudes of learners. (3) Constraints - constraints in the implementation of the scouts in SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja among other things: the lack of a professional scout leader, students still feel indifferent to the scouts and scout activities are conducted every Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Alternative solutions to the problems the school to recruit volunteer coaches and provide guidance on the importance of early learners scout.
