PROFIL PENGUASAAN MATERI BOLA LANGIT DAN TATA KOORDINAT PADA GURU-GURU SMA DI KABUPATEN BULELENG
Abstract
Hasil analisis situasi di Kabupaten Buleleng menemukan bahwa guru Astronomi yang mengajar di sekolah menengah yang ada di wilayah Kabupaten Buleleng masih banyak yang belum sesuai kualifikasinya dengan bidang tugasnya. Oleh karena itu perlu diadakan kegiatan re-freshing program dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas penguasaan materi Astronomi. Mengingat cakupan materi Astronomi relatif luas, dalam kegiatan P2M ini, refreshing program dibatasi pada materi bola langit dan tata koordinat bagi guru-guru SMA di Kabupaten Buleleng untuk mengantisipasi rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa dalam bidang astronomi serta sebagai persiapan menuju olimpiade Astronom. Realisasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan memberikan penyegaran materi dan pelatihan penyelesaian soal-soal olimpiade Astronomi, bertempat di FMIPA Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa secara umum pelaksanaan pelatihan berjalan baik. Tingkat penguasaan guru dalam bidang bola langit dan tatakoordinat meningkat sebesar 3,2 poin setelah pelatihan (rata-rata pretest = 4,1 kategori kurang dan rata-rata posttest = 7,3 kategori baik). Respon peserta terhadap pelatihan yang dilaksanakan adalah positif dan guru-guru sangat antusias mengikuti pelatihan hingga selesai. Kendala yang ditemui dalam pelaksanaan pelatihan adalah tinggkat kesukaran soal olimpiade relatif sulit sehingga diperlukan waktu lebih banyak dalam pembahasan soal.

Abstract
Results of the analysis of the situation in Buleleng found that the Astronomy teacher who taught high school in the district of Buleleng are still many who have not appropriate qualifications in their respective sectors. Therefore it is necessary to re-freshing program activities in order to improve the quality of mastery of Astronomy. Given the relatively wide range of material Astronomy, in the activities of this P2M, refreshing program is limited to the material and the celestial sphere coordinate system for high school teachers in Buleleng to anticipate low student achievement in the field of astronomy as well as preparation for the Olympiad Astronomers. The realization of the activities carried out by giving refresher training materials and settlement issues Astronomy Olympiad, held at the State University of Ganesha Education. Activity results showed that the general implementation of the training went well. Teacher mastery level in the field of celestial globes and coordinate system increased by 3.2 points after training (average pretest = 4.1 category are less and the average posttest good category = 7.3). The response of participants towards training that carried out is positive and the teachers are very enthusiastic attend training through to completion. Obstacles encountered in the implementation of the training is the difficulty level of olympics question relatively difficult, so it takes a lot more in discussions question.
