Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Komik Strip Mata Pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Untuk Siswa Kelas V Sekolah dasar

This research was carried out with the aim of developing comic strip media for science subjects for elementary school students that is valid, practical and effective for learning outcomes. This research uses the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model consists of 5 stages, namely the analysis stage, design stage, development stage, implementation stage and evaluation stage. The subject of this development is the comic strip media for science subjects to improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students, while the object is the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the comic media being developed. The data collection methods used are the rating scale method, questionnaires and test methods. The research results were proven by the validity test of material experts 0.90, learning design experts 0.88, and media experts 0.89; test the practicality of student responses through individual trials with results of 96.21% and small group tests with results of 96.21%; and the effectiveness test with the correlated t-test obtained a calculated t result of 14.40 which was greater than the t table value with a significance level of 5% 1.70 so that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. The N-gain score test of pretest and posttest data obtained an N-gain score of 66%, which is included in the quite effective category. Thus, it can be concluded that the comic strip learning media for science subjects is very valid, practical, and effectively applied for fifth grade elementary school children in improving student learning outcomes.
