Kata Kunci : Kata kunci:project based learning, pjbl, hasil belajar, pencak silat.
This study aimed to determine the effect of Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model with picture cards toward the learning achievement of pencak silat basic horse stancetechniques. This study was a real experimental study using the randomized pretest posttest control group design of the same subject design. The population was X class students of SMA Lab Undiksha in academic year 2017/2018 which were distributed to five classes, namely MIA 1, MIA 2, IIS 1, IIS 2, and Bahasa dan Budaya with total number amounted to 106 members (51 males and 55 females). The sample was obtained by simple random sampling technique. Learning result data was collected through multiple choice test, observation and performance. Data analysis was done by using t test with SPSS 16.0 for Windows. In the experimental group it was obtained that an average value was 0.79 with a standard deviation by 0.06. While in the control group it was obtained that an average value was 0.65 with a standard deviation by 0.08. Significance on the normality test was 0.160 (experimental group) and 0.200 (control group). The significance number obtained by t test was 0.000. It was concluded that the implementation of Project Based Learning with picture cards has significant effect on the improvement of learning achievement of pencak silat basic horse stance techniques. It is suggested to PJOK teachers to apply the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model with picture cards because it is proved to have a significant effect on the improvement of student learning achievement
