PENERAPAN METODE PEMBERIAN TUGAS BERBANTUAN MEDIA KARTU DOMINO KANCING BAJU UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF ANAK DI TK DARMA SUDA SINGARAJA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kognitif pada anak kelompok B semester I tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 di TK Darma Suda Singaraja, setelah penerapan metode pemberian tugas dengan berbantuan media kartu domino kancing baju. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 21 orang Anak TK pada Kelompok B Semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Data penelitian tentang peningkatan kemampuan kognitif pada anak TK dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis statistik kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan kognitif dalam penerapan metode pemberian tugas pada siklus I sebesar 51,00% yang berada pada kategori rendah ternyata mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 86,90% tergolong pada kategori tinggi. Jadi, terjadi peningkatan kemampuan kognitif pada anak sebesar 35,9 %. Peningkatan terjadi karena dalam proses pembelajaran ini menggunakan metode pemberian tugas dengan berbantuan media kartu domino kancing baju, sehingga anak menjadi lebih tertarik dan bersemangat dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran.

Abstrac
This study aims to determine increased cognitive abilities in children in group B the first semester of academic year 2012/2013 in kindergarten Darma Suda Singaraja, after the application of the method of administration tasks aided dominoes media buttons. This research is a classroom action research was conducted in two cycles.The subjects were 21 kindergarten children in Group B first semester in academic year 2012/2013. Cognitive ability in kindergarten children were collected by of observation .The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative statistical analysis methods. Results of data analysis showed that increased cognitive ability in the application of methods of assignment on the first cycle of 51.00% which is in the low category was experiencing an increase in cycle II to 86.90 % belong to the higher category.Thus, an increase in cognitive ability in children was 35.9%. Increase occurs because the learning process is to use the method of administration tasks aided dominoes media buttons, so that children become more interested and excited in participating in the learning process.
