PENGARUH METODE PEMBELAJARAN EKSPERIMEN TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS PADA ANAK KELOMPOK B DI TK KARTIKA VII-3 Singaraja

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya keterampilan proses sains anak usia 5–6 tahun di TK Kartika VII-3 Singaraja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh metode pembelajaran eksperimen terhadap keterampilan proses sains anak. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan rancangan ”post test only control group design”. Populasi penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B di TK Kartika VII-3 Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 50 anak. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu seluruh populasi anak kelompok B di TK Kartika VII-3 Singaraja. Data hasil keterampilan proses sains dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial yaitu uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan keterampilan proses sains antara anak yang mendapat treatmen metode pembelajaran eksperimen dengan anak yang tidak mendapat treatmen metode pembelajaran eksperimen. Perbandingan perhitungan rata-rata persentase keterampilan proses sains pada kelompok eksperimen adalah 88,85% lebih besar dari rata-rata persentase keterampilan proses sains kelompok kontrol adalah 64%. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran eksperimen berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan proses sains anak kelompok B di TK kartika VII-3 Singaraja.Kata Kunci : anak usia dini, keterampilan proses sains, metode pembelajaran eksperimen
The problem in this research of this study was the low science process skills of 5-6 years old children in Kartika Kindergarten school VII-3 Singaraja. This study was examined the influence of experiment learning methods the science process skills of children. This research is a quasi experiment to draft a “post test only control group design”. The study population was children in group B at Kartika Kindergarten school VII-3 Singaraja 2015/2016 school year total 50 children. The research sample that is the entire population of children in group B at TK Kartika VII-3 Singaraja. Data were collected using science process skills of observation sheet, then, the data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics analysis and inferential statistics, t-test. The results of this study showed that there was difference in science process skills among children who received the treatments experiment learning methods with children who do not receive treatments experiment learning methods. Comparative calculation of the average percentage of science process skills of the experiment group was 88,85% greater than the average percentage of science process skills control group was 64%. Based on this it can be concluded that the experimental teaching methods influence the science process skills children in group B at Kartika Kindergarten school VII-3 Singaraja.
